CANON ANNOUNCES THE NEW EOS 5D MARK III. On March 2nd 2012, Canon announced the much anticipated release of their upgraded for the MKII series and just in time. This series camera has a shutter durability rating of 150,000 cycles and we are fast approaching that limit with our MKII. We got our order in on day one and hope to have the new MKIII in service by the end of March 2012.
