We view hundreds of MLS Listings every week and are continually amazed how bad many of the property photos are. We recommend that when you interview a real estate agent, you take some time to look up some of their MLS listings and see how they are presenting client properties.

When selling properties online, agents and web designers say that the pictures buyers see of houses for sale are often the first and sometimes the only chance for a seller to make a good impression. Less-than-flattering pictures can turn buyers off and lead to lonely open houses. These days we have to work harder than ever to stand out from the crowd and get noticed! Most people today use the internet to shop for homes and there is no question, properties with attractive and colorful photos will get much more attention than the others. Having Jim on our team is equivalent to having a full time advertising agency to promote our business and our client listings. Jim is an accomplished photographer and maintains an extensive arsenal of state-of-the art professional photography gear that he uses to create stunning photographs and virtual tours of our listings. He is also our graphic designer, webmaster, and marketing strategist!

How much does it cost?

At a time when many agents are trying to cut costs, we are including our excellent marketing services as a value added part of our normal compensation.

What do other agents do?

Today's real estate market is highly competitive so why do so many real estate listing look so bland? Before you hire an agent to represent you, check to see how their other listings appear online and ask them which web sites your listing will appear. Will the agent hire a photographer or will they use an amateur digital camera try to do save money and shoot your home themselves?

Good agents will invest the money to hire a competent real estate photography company to come out to your property and shoot still photos along with a virtual tour which is hosted on the photography company's web site. The reality is that the outsourced real estate photographer is on a tight schedule and may shoot 8 properties in a single day. Most real estate photography companies work on a volume basis and need to get in and out quickly.
